In mid-January of 2012 I was hiking with a friend while snowboarding. I always carry my camera and we ended up on a ridge that looks over the Notch of Mount Mansfield. When we reached to top of the ridge the trees to the left were covered with black spots. A second later the spot came to life and stated to fly around. It was a swarm of robins flying around together which I have never seen before. I grabbed a couple photos quickly which are displayed in my galleries. I think the birds are really confused this winter because of the warm weather. Hopefully this isn’t a sign of global warming and bad things to come.
