Two winters ago I shot the Vermont Open of Snowboarding at Stratton Resort in Southern Vermont. The Event is always a great time and features some of the best riders in the region. It also showcases an event called the "Washed Up Cup" which features legends of snowboard that are still competitive. I was pleasantly surprised when they introduced a Retro Pipe event the night before the Washed Up Cup. So many of the old pro’s came out to throw down and the event was located where the pipe was located when we were kids. It felt like coming home, the feeling of the location and the event was surreal. During the event I shot the photo below of Seth Neary doing his classic method. It was published in the new Ski Vermont Magazine. I want to thank them for publishing my shot and Seth for sending it. You can pick one up at most tourist information centers.
